Left-behind children learn Tahu Zaohua

The Tahu Zaohua (a kind of paper cutting) Training Center gave classes about the Tahu Zaohua technique to left-behind children at the Sanjiaoping Practice Base in Tahu Village, Heshui Town, Luxi County from August 6 to 7. Tahu Zaohua is a national intangible cultural heritage project and a unique folk art. Under the guidance of inheritors, the children read the book about Tahu Zaohua and enjoyed Tahu Zaihua works at the former residence of Huang Kaotian, an artist of Tahu Zaohua, immersing themselves in the unique cultural charm of intangible cultural heritage. At the learning site, the inheritors taught them how to carve exquisite patterns on paper with simple tools, and were happy to see that they finally created Tahu Zaohua works full of childlike innocence and creativity.
